Greater Roslindale Health Center is established.

It is located at 6 Cummins Highway. The center is formed by residents of Roslindale, Hyde Park and West Roxbury concerned with the local lack of health services. It is affiliated with a number of hospitals, particularly Carney and Shattuck.
